Halogen lamp again – a cursor goes up and down and will be able to change the luminosity from the lamp.

Motor lamp/projector. the part in front of the light moves 360 deg. and a system ajust the sharpness of the lens.
The system was designed to project an image on the ceiling.

Viral campaign inspired by the Royale de Luxe events.

The Royale De Luxe is a french theater group based in Nantes, which is known to offer some poetical and artistic projects often including animated sculptures for example the little girl giant made in  2006 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBXr15K2uSc).

The idea here was to create a buzz around the arrival of some kind of “extraterrestrial people” which would spread messages of love following the theme of the campaign “Treat Yourself” by Dell at this time to launch the mini laptops.

Here is the line up of the event:

2 weeks before the week event

We display an ad in the streets of London
where we can see the king smiling in different poses.

Day 1 (tuesday)

During the night before day 1

- Mike Nimo (a random guy created by us) launches a video on youtube of a box coming out from the ground
on Trafalgar Square

- Later the same day we make a fake news about the event saying
what is that box ?
where does it come from ?
is it dangerous ?

Day 2 (wednesday)

- 2 – 3 videos of guys doing strange things around the box
“I touch the box and it changed my life“
people are just super happy when they touch the box
so the security guys don t let people coming to close

scientists around the box doing some studies of it
“We dont know whats inside, we just know it s not radioactive … or dangerous ”
(Would be good to show the scientists working on little minis – small product placement)

Day 3 (thursday)

morning
the king goes out from the box (lot of noise before it goes out)
Offical meeting with the fake mayor´s assistant

2 or 3 video clips of the meeting spread on youtube

afternoon
the king goes for a trip in the city in his personal car.

distribution of flyers with a Flash AR pattern you can put on webcam + candies

website map of the trip of the car (googlemaps) draws the shape of the sweet dispenser

The king launches a contest where people need to take pictures and show how they treat their surroundings (the best happy will win a laptop)

Day 4 (friday)

2nd trip

Following the king around his trip the king and his mates
spread the message of love and happiness
give some candies

………

king meets some famous people …

During the night between day 4 and day 5 the box becomes a present
with a message on it “Dear Earthlings … Treat Yourself”

Day 5 (saturday)

At 12h

Dwarfs mess up site agitating around the present
the present open with lot of noise and smoke

The sweet dispenser appear
and 3 tents are set up to show the product and make some selling points

Party for the opening djs cocktail ….

Come and see the kings speech before he leaves

Contest to win a computer, tickets for MTV awards, …

Gifts, accessories, t-shirts, caps, …

This idea could be adapted to other scenarios, giving the idea long-term staying power.

Design & code in Flash as2 of a new software to provide music
for restaurants and cafés via internet network.

I designed and made at least 70% of the furnitures and building work there, it was tough but really exciting.
After 3 months of work, we finally opened the 10th october 2005. We were 4 sharers on 12 (yeah that’s a lot of people…) working in this bar, restaurant, internet café, gallery…

I worked 3 really hard years there, but I learned a lot from this experience.
I still have my shares in the project which is evolving in the best direction I could have imagine offering space and many ways of expression for graphic designers, illustrators and other artists.
